ID Antenna

Afimilk
Identification Antenna
The Identification Antenna is a device engineered for the automatic capturing of unique radio signals from collars or tags attached to cows (AfiCollar, AfiTag II). It ensures the precise identification of every animal upon entry into the Milking Parlor, passage through Sortation Gates, or at other strategic points within the farm.
Powered by the antenna, the Afimilk system accurately identifies which animal is located in a specific zone and activates the corresponding functions: initiating the milking process, data collection, sorting, or displaying information on the controller.
Applications:
  • Milking Parlor entrances
  • Sortation Gates
  • Transfer lanes and feeding zones
Benefits:
  • Instant and precise animal identification
  • Reliable operation in harsh farm environments (humidity, dust, temperature fluctuations)
  • Seamless integration with milking management and sorting systems
  • Automated record-keeping and enhanced data accuracy
It ensures accurate and stable reading of electronic tags or boluses, helping to automate animal records and increase farm efficiency.
The Afimilk Identification Antenna is a key element of the precision herd management system, ensuring the seamless and timely recording of animal movement and presence at every stage of the production process.
