Separators for Manure and Biogas Systems
Separators are utilized to split manure slurry or organic substrate into solid and liquid fractions following the anaerobic digestion process.
How It Works: After processing in a digester, the substrate remains a mixture. The separator isolates solid particles from the liquid:
  • Liquid fraction: Suitable for fertigation—applying nutrients through irrigation systems.
  • Solid fraction: Serves as fertilizer, Animal Bedding, or raw material for composting.
Key Advantages: Using separators delivers several benefits:
  • Reduced waste volume.
  • Streamlined storage and logistics.
  • Minimized odors.
  • Enhanced efficiency in further processing and disposal.
Modern separators ensure reliable operation, high throughput, and cost-effective performance.
Galaxy Machinery Manure Separators
Engineered to separate manure into liquid and solid fractions, this equipment enables the effective transformation of waste into valuable fertilizer or compost. The units are designed to handle raw material moisture levels between 65% and 75%, ensuring consistent results even under intensive operation.
The separators are manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel and feature powerful motors and electronic control systems. The robust construction is built to process various types of manure and biogas residues. It is also suitable for processing raw materials with low moisture content in the paper, food, and woodworking industries.
Key Advantages:
  • High throughput with low energy consumption.
  • Durable AISI 304 stainless steel construction.
  • Simple maintenance and reliable operation.
  • Optimal solid fraction moisture (~65%), ideal for composting.
